Hi RJ, the scoring can be confusing but ranks have nothing to do with who gets where when. If you dropped ranks it's because others beat buffer teams (with buffer teams).

I’d love to know how things are ranked. I thought it was in order of Power, but at 14520, I can’t hold #1

Yeah, power is one element in ranks, but ...

If your power = 8000 and you challenge someone with power of 12000 and earn 100 points you will rank more highly than if your power = 8000 and you challenge someone with a power of 10000 and earn 100 points.

So, what was the power of the team that you beat to get score X, rank Y? Let's assume it was less than 14520 because there aren't many folks fielding teams that buff at the moment ... If someone comes in later and beats your team, they'll also earn score X, and may bump you down from rank Y because they beat the buffer team (i.e., yours ...).

    Hope that helps. :)

Hmmmm well I typically fight with a 8-9000 power team and I beat Lost 4 times yesterday. And I didn’t go against a team less than 12000 in any match. Can’t imagine 11 guys doing better than that. But you never know I guess. I’m just getting to figure this out now that I’m good enough to get a 1000. And what’s a buffer team? I’m still pretty new to this game over all. Thanks for the help

Yeah, there are a good many folks fielding buff teams - 1400+ power - but, again, the power of your team isn’t the determining factor in rankings. The power of your team impacts the number of points you earn from a match, but it’s the power of the team you beat that is the tie-breaker. So, basically, the challenge at 1000 points is to beat the buffest team avail, with your buffest team ... matchmaker makes that tricky, though ...

Does buff just mean biggest team? Or are there toons that give the other toons a boost?

I can’t seem to get that first 100. On the East coast and have a regular job so I can’t stay up till midnight each night. On weekends, I’ve tried, but can’t get anyone with more than 10 points. My rank board isn’t resetting like GPK4evr said about a month ago. Each round it will only give me the highest rank that isn’t 60 points ahead of me to battle, so I have to wait 20 minutes and hope that they played a round. It is getting me about 920 a 930 points a day.

Sometimes you just have to lower your team to get that first and maybe second 100. Try to lower your team with 4000. So if you batte against ex my team 14515, then lower your team to 10515 or less to be sure. This is becuse you start later as you say, its hard to find someone with enough point over you.

Firstly how did you get 1100 points when there are only 10 matches with a max of 100 pts per match? Secondly I am ranking down around 10th place with 1000 points even though I am beating people with 8105 while they are at 12-14k so how could someone be possibly be doing better than that consistently every round. Seems like no matter what I do GPK4Ever out ranks me by a far margin. These rankings make no sense and I would love it if the support team would clear up the confusion.
