Thanks for the update, Worm Wars is tough, even with mostly maxed out cards.

But it is nice to finally be able to have Adam Bomb tokens to battle for.

Just need a Pink Nadine event to complete the lot, well until the next lot of new characters!

This really refocuses the game for me and it's a ton of fun, thanks devs!

Looks like the game is now on the
right hands and get a lot of updates.

This is a lot of fun. Now we really have to level up our lower cards to compete. With only 11 complete cards I’ve managed in 6 months I can only go as far Battle 6. Still a good game.

I've got to battle 9 but that is with 49 maxed out cards!

So I do wonder if they change the strength of it, depending on the amount of cards you own?

But it is certainly a battle and a challenge, but a good one!

Ringo76 I can make it to battle 6 with zero maxed cards... so I have to get 49 of them to max just to get to 3 more battles? Would the remaining six cards you don't own have any chance of getting you to the end? I like the idea of this mode and access to some of the more rare tokens but the mode overall seems very unbalanced. My first thought on playing it was it is a pretty high barrier to entry and new players won't get to touch the mode for months. After hearing this I can see that much like arena there is almost no point in trying to build out a top tier deck for it. What a shame.

I think it adjust differently to the amount and strengths of your cards.

So the new players or ones like you with a few cards get a fair go at playing and accumulating tokens etc.

As I have a lot of maxed out cards, so most of the AI are at 100, where as our maxed strength cards are 70.

It's only as I wondered what the numbers meant in the battle box.

This was the only one where I wasn't facing all 5 with 100.

So basically it gets harder the more higher cards you get, so yes it's difficult and I hope it's possible to do and win battle 13, it will take a while to do.

But this is only a few days of playing this, so I'm sure more strategic people will have a better understanding and tactical awareness of Worm Wars than I do.

I think you're on to something Ringo! I recorded the general setup of each battle I've gotten to so far and here is the breakdown (I have 9 maxed so far):

    WW1: All 59s
    WW2: 82 (Ldr), 92, 70, 83, 70
    WW3: 70L, 59, 70, 82, 71
    WW4: 70L, 70, 100, 75, 65
    WW5: 79L, 70, 77, 100, 98
WW6: All 100s (yesterday I had one 70 mixed in before going on an upgrade rampage on my lower levels)
    WW7: All 100s

This was my breakdown yesterday so it's similar.

It's wether the green energy bar is different? As it's not shown in the picture but most are almost a solid green bar instead of seeing the increments.

But maybe it's just me moaning that I've not figured out the right leaders for the battles etc.

Interesting. While you are definitely having tougher early rounds than I am, you're still getting lower level enemies sprinkled throughout.  I didn't vastly increase my lower levels like I did the day before, but the early lineups did get noticeably tougher:

    WW1: 64L, 59, 59, 70, 59
    WW2: 71L, 70, 70, 95, 70
    WW3: 70L, 59, 90, 100, 70
    WW4: 70L, 70, 70, 100, 82
    WW5: 90L, 70, 100, 100, 71
    WW6: 100L, 100, 100, 100, 75
    WW7: All 100s
    WW8: All 100s

Regarding the HP bars without segments, they seem to be the result of having so many segments that they can't be seen at the higher levels. At first I thought it was a glitch and maybe I lucked out and they only had one block of health but no... they just went Ultimate Instink (Super Trash Liner) ala GarbagePail Super.

This mode is kinda fun. You actually need strategerie.

Whoa! Congrats man!!! Are you one of the all maxed out? Insane achievement so soon !

But how did you strategise though?

As I've played leaders through out and tried to just strike one opponent at a time, otherwise they just wipe you out in one hit.

Otherwise I will have to just wait for the healing part to be fixed to have a fairer chance of succeeding!

Yeah, it's pretty mind-blowing. Even when you have a decent leader, some of these guys can one-shot a maxed character from the gate (R.I.P. Eerie Eric). Then when you factor that the healing characters are still bugged, this is completely crazy!

I like that it is fair to the people who haven't got a lot of maxed characters as they have a decent chance to go far.

But it is a big difference in facing a 70 compared to a 100.

As like Garbage Day said, they can just one shot you straight away. Least when you face a 70 you usually get a go back at them.

Otherwise it takes me 10 or 15 or cards to go through one battle

Wow! Congratulations Chained Shane! How long did it take you to go from start to finish?

I am not fully maxed out... I have like 6 or so that aren't. I've found that the healing glitch doesn't affect Lemon Nadine as much as the other healers for some reason. Or maybe I'm just not getting the invisible negative effects as much as everyone else. Along with a working healer, you need a good taunting tank on your team to take the brunt of the hits. When they die, replace them in the next round. The other 3 should be strong hitters.

Testy Tony - it took me... an hour. I've beaten it like 3 times so far and each time has been roughly that long. I think. I didn't really time it and I didn't do it all at once.

OOF. I just had a bad run. Lost Lemon Nadine in Round 3 with ONE HIT by Sweaty Betty and the rest of my dream team fell fast. Once they were gone... I struggled to get through it today. Lemon Nadine is key. The other healers are pretty much worthless. Stun characters kept me going for along time.

Lemon Nadine's healing is through Regen Buff, whereas the rest are Spot healers. Once the update goes through, I doubt she will be as good from match to match, but probably still useful in singles.

I actually managed to get to the end of worm wars with only 12 complete characters. I do have an A, B & C team according to how good I think they are. My C team did good for a couple fight, but my B team really wailed on a bunch of them and finally my A team just cleaned up the last few. It was fun to finally complete this. I also got to see the new characters, Stan, Homer & Zack play during this. I really like Stan Alive. I need that one. He looks fun.
