Our fetid fiesta also introduces three exciting new stars - you haven’t seen breakout performances like these since Acne Amy’s face! Catch a case of Saturday Night Flu with Stan Alive, have an E.T. In another exciting overhaul, ALL our events now have more battles and reduced qualifying thresholds at the lower tiers. And you can repeat some special limited-time event battles up to three times a day - so strap in and tell your loved ones you’ll see them at Thanksgiving (or if not then, New Years)!
We also improved our Combat AI in the Arena, Worm Wars, and in Events - that means more challenging battles and a more inflated sense of accomplishment when you emerge triumphant.
Other changes:

Worm Wars: Fixed an issue where character data wasn’t properly being reset between Worm Wars battles. This most often appeared as if the player’s team couldn’t heal after a few battles, but had some other side effects as well.

Worm Wars: Fixed an issue where enemy teams with Max Health buffs could cause a progression block if they beat the player’s team while nearly (but not quite) dead.

Fixed an issue where some internal ability data wasn’t being reset properly between battles. This was a game-wide issue and resulted in some very rare and subtle issues.

Fixed an issue where various countdown timers could go out of sync on Android devices while the game was in the background or the device was asleep. This was most noticeable when looking at the arena countdown, where it would appear that prizes were distributed before the countdown had finished.

Players can now view abilities for characters they have not yet unlocked - happy now, nosy?

Various sound and visual improvements to Worm Wars

The game now correctly reports if the character in the leader slot on the team selection has no leader ability and/or if they do have one but it's locked. Way to lead!

Players can no longer fight players in the Arena who were within the allowed rank range when they loaded the opponent list but exited that range after the list was loaded

Fixed an issue where the Bazaar would stop working after canceling out of the refresh battle prompt in the Arena. In other words, the Bazaar is now a little less bizarre.

Fixed some typos in ability descriptions and ability upgrade descriptions. Typos are so aynnyoying!

Added a level 7 upgrade for Smelly Sally's "Lightning Fast" ability

Fixed an issue where Mad Mike’s Berzerk Fury ability wasn’t healing as intended

Fixed an issue where New Wave Dave's Friendly Fighters ability wasn't correctly giving +Evasion for each living Friendly teammate

Indeed! Crazy stuff dropped and about to drop! And since you asked for it, feel free to respond to these comments as directly as Corporate Communications will permit you:
1- Worm Wars has turned into easy mode... perhaps a "hard" mode tier is in order (with a limited heal/special attack handicap)? Am I crazy? Maybe.
2- One thing though with Shark Attack Zack: my dinky Aristo 5 slows down alot whenever he's on the screen.
3- Also got into a situation with Lemon Nadine when I had wittled her team all the way down to just her and me with a full roster and could not beat her unless I constantly forfeited the battle so as not to let her get a turn in after being hit or she'd be back to full health. The first time I did this, it froze my entire OS and I had to do a hard reset, though the aforementioned Zack had been initially part of her group. The only other way I can think of is to put in a Brawler capable of one-shotting her, which is okay I guess but I have to test out my maxed cards for that one. Still, very awkward dealing with her.
4- Huge Arena queue fix, looking forward to seeing how it changes the landscape.
5- I really hope I don't have to have a full 7* retro set to get a chance at a full 7* Stan or Homer. I hate having to get them only about halfway then wait for another chance in how many months. That being said, I really love that you threw in Sal in the Bazaar. He'll have to wait after Adam Bomb of course, but does this confirm he won't have his own separate event?
6- Can we also confirm the reason why we haven't received one of the most iconic GPKs in Evil Eddie? I assume it has something to do with his Barbie doll blood donor? If so, no other way to slightly change it up? We have all the Universal-esque monsters out here and it doesn't seem right without him.

1: Worm Wars should not have turned into easy mode, what are you talking about? :D We fixed two major bugs and made the AI harder. That being said, graduating to a harder version after beating it N times is not out of the question as far as features go.
2: Sorry about that. We need those animations to look awesome! The team actually has a bunch of optimization tasks on hand for the next few updates. They'll get to them as they can. I'm not sure if will help with animations specifically but it should reduce some texture sizes in memory and on disk and that might improve animation performance, I'm not sure.
3: Uhhhhhhh it sounds like your device ran out of memory or something? Or it's possible that it just got really hot, and computers can actually behave in weird ways when hot. But anyway, we've heard some grumbling about Lemon Nadine's heal being too powerful as a level 100 in Worm Wars... and I get it, but it's definitely not the top of our list of stuff to fix right now. Sorry.
4: Yeah it's pretty significant.
5: We will add Stan and Zack to PvE. Homer will be an event exclusive for now. Sal had an event back in November for Thanksgiving. This seemed like a good way to add him back into the game. Gotta save some characters for new features!
6: Not going to comment on this except to say that no, it's not because of the doll. :)

Yeah, the good far outweighed the bad. Excellent mega-release! "Easy mode" was just my way of saying it's so much easier now than it was due to the heal bug, but the difficulty kinda grew on me and I'd like to see a super-spicy version at some point in the distant future.
Oh and one more thing: can we get a trash compactor or extension of the Store to:
A: Turn in unwanted piles of Junk pieces for cash/gems.
B: Convert unwanted CC points, Arena points, or (gasp) Worm Wars points into gems.
