    I updated over 12 hours ago. Try clearing your Play Store Cache and restarting device. Also don't run Play Store updates with the game in active memory, Kill all tasks/apps.

    I’m on an iPhone. I just tried to delete the app and reinstall, and it said “new update: habitual characters!” I don’t really know what to do now except wait.

    Just a quick update on my update situation: it still has not gone through. I use an iPhone, and my dad has an android. His has updated, mine hasn’t. Can any other iPhone users let me know if their update has come through? I have an iPhone XR on IOS 14.4.2.

    Same problem here. I’m also on an IPhone XR and got the notification yesterday morning too but no actual update. I’ve tried updating via the App Store and everything else that normally works but still not triggering/happening.

    I’m glad that I’m not alone, but at the same time I don’t want anyone else to have this problem. It’s frustrating. We already missed out on one day’s attempts of a new spiky event, as well as daily attempts to get the new characters. Do the devs have any idea what might be wrong? Or is it something on Apple’s side?

    I’m not 100% sure but there is nothing mentioned about the holiday update in the App Store App description so I’m guessing it is on the developer’s side.

    Yeah, I'm kinda hoping we'll have a bit of catch-up time on the events we're missing out on.  No idea how to make it happen except to extend the event for everyone, which I bet no one would complain about.

    Unfortunately it's not technically possible to schedule things differently for different platforms but we CAN send some kind of compensatory inbox message once the update is available. Hmmm...
