GPK February 2022 Update - Love is in the air!
February is a month known for love. And Presidents’ Day, but who cares about that? We here at GPK: The Game HQ have been struck by Cupid’s arrow – not to mention bricks, bats, bottles, and just about anything else you can think of. We’ve always believed that all’s fair in love and war, but when you put the two together, you can REALLY have some fun! It may be the shortest month, but we’re long overdue for a Febrouhaha!
We’ve got two new GPKs just waiting to sweep you off your feet and kick your opponents’ butts. Romantic Russ is a cut above – a real bleeding heart type – while Val N. Tine will shower you with gifts and rain blows upon your enemies.
But that’s not all! Our schedule of special events is like a box of chocolates: super sweet and totally nutty! Make sure you’ve got a loaded lineup of heart attackers from the Stylish, Romantic, Filthy, and Spooky groups and you’ll walk away with a bountiful bouquet of breathtaking booty!

Optimizations to reduce asset download size and size on disk a bit

Ally requests are now hidden when players reach maximum ally count (they will reappear automatically if the maximum ally count increases)

Added a "Send All" button to the ally screen (for sending ally currency to all allies at the same time)
Bug fixes:

Fixed an issue where Buff Blocker debuff wasn't working properly. This affected abilities Playful Push for Rock E Horror and Wrecking Rampage for Frank N Stein (this is a big deal)

Fixed a bug where Tenacity from Junk was not being properly added to character Tenacity totals. This will slightly reduce the odds of many characters receiving debuffs, especially at higher junk levels (this is also a big deal)

Fixed some issues with the "New character can be unlocked" popup by preventing it from appearing in certain contexts where it could cause problems

Fixed an issue where Dolt Fights Hard 2-2 was giving away Club Fights tokens instead of gems for first-time completion (this will not work retroactively, sorry)

Thanks for update. Look forward to checking it out in full this weekend. Here's some of what I've found so far.
Send All doesn't re-initialize if you add after use. After battle sound still is heard with Audio Off. Sewer Sue might have joined ET on the unavailable list. Will need the market to refresh to confirm. -
Is this the big behind the scenes update?
As I would have hoped it fixed the Shark Attack Zack bug as he still slows down play until the card is defeated.
It's good to have the loading screen load a bit quicker but it has stopped loading a few times at 100%.
While it is long over due to finally be able to collect Pink Lemon Nadine tokens, why only 1 per 400 points, it will take 3-4 months to collect them via Worm Wars and then try and find them in the Bazaar, with it being rotated so much.
But she also appears to only be unlocked when you collect all 330 tokens, so you can't even use her in any battles. Just makes it even more of a grind to play.

I kind of wish you’d stop replacing the old cards from the Calamity, Nuts & Dolts fights with new ones as the old ones are starting to get more difficult to collect as they are becoming scarce to find to unlock them. I think you guys need to add more fights to Calamity, Nuts & Dolts instead of replacing them.

Actually Ringo, unless you stopped playing Worm Wars after collecting the 5 characters from the store, you should have more than enough to unlock her in about a month. Even if she’s just 1 token per 400 I think it was, you should be able to collect multiple tokens throughout the day with your excess WW tokens. On day one I managed to get 12 tokens for her. If I get lucky and keep that amount per day, in a month I should unlock her.

In theory that would work but the Bazaar is so hit and miss with availability as I'm only getting 4 or 5 a day and when you check every hour it does get very frustrating.
They do need to work out different ways of being able to collect cards or at least give more varied options. As I've not been able to play calamity events for weeks now as the last 2 lots of new cards in the updates have only been playable with nuts or dolts.
And the cards available in pack or daily play need to be changed as it gets boring getting the same characters for the umpteenth time as I've 14 cards with over 500 spare or wasted tokens.

After playing for a couple days, I now realize I do not mind getting ally requests even when I’m maxed out in allies, but what is still annoying is being asked if I want to add an ally after I defeat someone in Arena. Can you remove that instead and let me continue getting requests through mail despite being maxed out? That way I can add someone immediately who wanted my partnership when I want to drop someone who’s not active. I got a pair of deadbeats I want to get rid of, but no one to replace them with.

Testy Tony the requests still accumulate invisibly in the background, so if someone sends you a request while you're full, if you remove someone all the pending requests should appear.
